"Karen Chipman is truly the best! I took her child birth class when I was pregnant and I was so impressed that I promptly signed up for her breastfeeding class, newborn essentials class and infant safety and CPR class right when I got home! Karen is kind, funny and so welcoming to expectant and new moms. There is no judgment at Stork Ready - just a wealth of information, not only from Karen but from her instructors and the other new moms as well.
After I had my baby, I went back to Stork Ready to Mommy & Me Café. It has become a second home for my daughter Bridget and I. It is so nice to have a spot to go every Tuesday where I can chat with other moms and exchange information, ask questions - where there is no judgment and where no one cares if there is a crying baby or not! ;)
Karen is also so good about connecting new moms with other instructors, classes, products, etc. I have taken Debbie Sharp's Baby Development and Baby Sign Language classes and the Music Together class all offered at Stork Ready and they are all so great.
If you are an expecting or new mom - or even a second or third time mom - and you are looking for anything from a child birth class to a mommy support group, I would strongly recommend checking out Stork Ready!"
"Stork Ready has become my second home during my maternity leave with my now 12 week old daughter, Hayden. We started going here for our child birth class and Karen was great! I had remembered her saying that after our babies were born there were multiple groups for parents to attend. I kept that in mind and when Hayden was 3 weeks old I grabbed my best friend and her son and we attended our first mommy cafe. Let's just say we have been there almost every Tuesday since! The interactions with other new or experienced moms is wonderful. It is like a social group and we always have such a great time. I've learned so many new things and received so much positive feedback and advice from the moms and from Karen and Sue. I am so grateful for Stork Ready and Hayden and I will continue to be part of this community as she grows!"
