Karen Chipman ICEA / BLS / ST

Childbirth Educator

Karen is a hard working mother of three beautiful young adults. Her greatest passions in life include her family, her career, and animals especially horses. She began working in labor and delivery in 1988 as a surgical technician. She currently works in Labor & Delivery.

Her love for helping new parents through the delivery process grew. In 1991, she acquired her teaching certification through ICEA(International Childbirth Education Association). What separates Karen from other instructors is apparent. She has been teaching for 26 years and truly enjoys each and every class and making a positive impact on the lives of expecting mothers. She has been told time and time again that when people leave her class they never expected to have had so much fun or to leave feeling completely confident and prepared to welcome their new arrival.

Susan Curley

I am the proud mother of two beautiful children. I have over twenty-five years of experience working with new families, pediatricians at Mass General Hospital, and Early Intervention. My wealth of knowledge and expertise, combined with practical experience will help you and your family.

I run a weekly group to support breastfeeding mothers and do individual sessions as well. Helping new families, especially when breastfeeding is challenging, is my passion.

Allow me to assist your family with challenges concerning breastfeeding, behavior management, picky eaters, discipline strategies, sleep, and development in the comfort of your own home. Visits at Stork Ready can also be arranged as needed.

I am really excited to be back at Stork Ready as Karen prepares to enter her fourth year of business!
